The Festival ExperienceThe Western Development Museum is transformed into a magical winter wonderland during the Saskatoon Festival of Trees! Explore beautifully decorated trees, wreaths, centrepieces, and more featuring whimsical winter, classic holiday, and family friendly displays lining 1910 Boomtown - an indoor representation of a typical Saskatchewan town with over 30 buildings recapturing the atmosphere and style of this bustling period.
Let your senses delight in the twinkling lights, glitter, and sparkle while enjoying the delicious gingerbread aroma wafting from the Cookie House or incredible displays at Gingerbread Lane. Experience engaging entertainment like photos with Santa, Enchanted story time, free face painting, character meet & greets, and more. We're thrilled to be celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, and even more excited to have you join us! Proceeds will benefit Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation, helping fund the equipment, resources, and programming needed to add 109 new acute care beds. We look forward to your support! |
Twilight in the Trees
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings 5:00pm to 9:00pm Join us for a magical experience where the Festival of Trees transforms into an intimately lit trip down Boomtown to view the displays in a whole new light. At scheduled times, the lights lower to create an intimate, twilight ambiance—letting every tree’s sparkle feel warmer, calmer, and more enchanting. Guests can wander down the street filled with trees, wreaths, centrepieces, and quilts, while enjoying the hush of the moment and relaxing break for the senses. |
